Sam has always liked to be upside downat the dinner table as a little girl, at circus camp, as a rhythmic gymnast, as a dancer and finally, here on her yoga mat!
She initially began practicing yoga as a compliment to her modern dance training in New York City, but within months became a devoted student of Anusara yoga (founded by John Friend).
Sam completed a 108-hour Anusara immersion in NYC in 2008, a Balance Yoga teacher training in Kansas City in 2009 and is currently in the midst of an Anusara teacher training with certified Anusara instructor Sianna Sherman.
Sam enjoys bringing a playful quality to her classes creating a welcoming space for her students to experience the transformative power of yoga.
She focuses on optimal body alignment and opening the heart.
