Being for the Benefit of Howard Brown: A Yoga Class
Howard Brown Health Center is one of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) healthcare organizations. For more than 36 years, Howard Brown has been providing care, preventing illness, conducting cutting-edge research, and safeguarding the health of our community. The agency serves more than 36,000 adults and youth each year. Without the proper funds Howard Brown may cease to exist, people will go without necessary health care, and countless lives will be at risk. On Monday, December 20th, YOGAHOUSE held a benefit to raise funds for the Howard Brown Health Center. For a minimum donation, students participated in a yoga class taught by YOGAHOUSE instructor, Emily Palmer, and all proceeds were donated to the Health Center.
